Privacy policy

The short version

Most of the 117 tools on Vibeland run entirely in your browser. When you paste text into a converter, formatter or calculator, that text is processed on your own device and is never sent to us. We do not have it, cannot read it, and do not store it.

Tools that do send data

A small number of tools cannot work in a browser alone and send your input to a processing service to produce a result. These include optical character recognition, background removal, PDF text extraction, QR code generation, SSL certificate checks, IP lookups, metadata scraping, Markdown conversion, placeholder image generation, random data generation, time zone conversion, and email and phone validation.

Every one of those tool pages states this in the page header and in the privacy note beside the tool. Data is passed through to complete your request and is not retained by us afterwards. Please do not upload documents containing sensitive personal or confidential information to these tools.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which tools people use, so we know what to improve. This collects standard information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and referring site. It does not capture what you type into a tool.

Analytics cookies are governed by the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through that banner.

Cookies

We use essential cookies needed for the site to function, and — with your consent — analytics cookies as described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third-party services

Blog content is served from our own WordPress installation. Certain tools call third-party processing APIs as described above. Our analytics provider is Google. Each of these operates under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because we do not operate user accounts and do not store tool inputs, the personal data we hold is limited to analytics information. To make a request, contact us through Olaverse Labs.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we handle your data will be highlighted on the site.
