About
What the Number to Words Converter does
Written amounts exist precisely as a tamper check. A figure of 100 can become 1000 with one stroke of a pen, but 'one hundred' cannot be changed to 'one thousand' without obvious alteration — which is why the words take legal precedence when the two disagree.
